Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

AI Policies (aipolicies.tech) is a free, public tracker of AI regulation and governance, run as an independent project. This page explains what information the site collects when you visit, and what we do with it. The short version: we don’t run ads, we don’t use third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and we don’t sell or share your information.

Who we are

AI Policies is an independent project based in Minnesota, USA. Questions about this policy can be sent to puprety@puprety.com.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Bluehost) automatically records basic technical details when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and keeping the site running, and are kept only as long as the host needs them.
  • Comments. If comments are open on a post and you leave one, we store the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. Comments may be checked by an automated spam service.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and follow up.

We do not ask you to create an account, and reading the site requires no personal information at all.

Cookies

Visitors who only read the site aren’t tracked with advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set small functional cookies if you leave a comment (to remember your name and email for next time, only if you opt in) or if you are a site administrator signing in.

Third-party content

Our briefs link to primary sources such as government, regulator and court websites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. We don’t embed third-party trackers, social media widgets or ad networks.

How we use and share information

We use the limited information above only to operate, secure and improve the site and to respond to you. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete any comment or message you’ve sent us by emailing the address above. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or certain US states), you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we’ll honor valid requests.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
